The Medium: "Babuji, I have not belonged to myself any more for a long time. It is you who decide for me. My heart is yours and it is at your service. I can offer you my humble person only, whose only qualities are the channeling capabilities allowing me to receive you."

The only ones, you said – it is up to us to judge. You are diligent in your work and persevering. With these two qualities, it is possible to work in all directions. Without them, our aspirants cannot go very far. They give themselves excuses for not practising: the prefect is not qualified, the abhyasis are like this or like that and are not to their liking. They are not good enough in their eyes, culturally, socially, and goodness knows what. They seek excuses to stay away from a group which would enable them, during the gatherings, to receive what they could not obtain from an isolated practice.

"Following a spiritual way entails abiding by a certain number of rules. Each one is free to proceed as they see fit, but the cohesion of the group is an important aspect.

"They should not lose sight of this aspect of the sadhana. The gatherings create the egregore, the force of a movement. Practising regularly at home is necessary, but they should never forget that it is union that makes these driving forces be spread on the Earth."

Consider your brothers and sisters as searching souls not limited to the vagaries of their human tendencies. They want to progress and feel the pressing need to be united with the Divine. They must fight against their own nature, which can dissuade them from pursuing this kind of process. Common sense and determination generally push them and their heart is delighted by these good states of mind. It is not easy to be rigorous in one's efforts at all times. Life requires constant efforts and this spiritual process must be accommodated in a schedule that is sometimes busy. It is commendable, in this case, to make room for one's abhyas. This steadfastness will be rewarded. Perseverance is essential in everything; without it, nothing sound can be built.

"We offer a method to you; it is up to you to appreciate it and ensure that it bears fruit. We are delighted to see your progress. You cannot assess it, and yet, an edifice is being built inside yourself, the foundations of which we are consolidating. You are working with patience, while adding, each day, a new stone to the masterpiece which will result from it."
