Undertaking a spiritual process is the best means of preparing for one's transition between the two worlds. Thus are the passage and the adaptation facilitated. All souls are not awaited and helped in the same way, and they do not profit from the same graces.

"It is on this Earth that the preparations for the future in a completely different world are to be made – [it is a world] where the laws are no longer the same as on this planet, and which awaits evolving souls. It is more proper to refer to it as worlds as there is no uniformity in this field. Each one goes where their level of evolution enables them to go. Logically this is how it goes. What would an elementary school pupil do at a university? Although these classifications may not mean anything elsewhere than in this world, these remarks are only meant to put things in perspective.

"As far as possible, do not waste time in this material world; prepare yourself for a future life, spiritually higher, divested of useless aspects. You will not regret it. It is your heart that must guide you according to its aspirations and thirst for opening up to its future blooming while still in this world.

"Each small step is important. Knowledge develops slowly; it creeps delicately into the twists and turns of this heart, which is your best guide when you let it take over the controls."

You must accept your body as it is, and be thankful for what you have received. You cannot have it all; you are granted compensations for what is missing in your life – a life which is not commonplace, you have to be well aware of this.

"Each life has its own burden; sooner or later, it reveals itself to the human being, generally in an unexpected way, and utterly upsets his life. He must then face up to things and question himself. There is nothing definite; man must be able to adapt himself, because of the risk of sinking into a regressive state. Faith is the best remedy; it is an invaluable force which helps him make the most of the tests he must undergo.

"A vast field of experiments is offered to him; there is every possible means to enable him to progress, if he really wants to go in the right direction. To a certain extent, it is up to him to make his choices and to see what is the best for him. Man has great liberty to act; alone he makes his decisions based on his instincts – good or bad – which make him act. Life can thwart his plans; he must then adapt himself, while keeping his free will.

"This long training will bear fruit. He will neither be able to succeed in everything, nor miss everything; a margin will be reserved for him where, depending on the cases, errors or commendable acts will be recorded. Each life is granted full of opportunities for rising; it is up to it [life] to impel man to make his choices."
