Man must unceasingly juggle the opportunities offered to him. Will he be able to make the right choices? Parallel to that, he must manage his tendencies, which can conceal from him what is good for him. Life in this world is not easy; only the prospect for a more rejoicing 'beyond' can help him cope with it and strive to progress.

"An existence divested of this way of viewing, in which there is no hope for a better world, is the saddest thing possible. Each life is the result of the preceding ones; they build upon each other and can be brought to perfection when the end result is achieved. This concept of a series of new beginnings is not easy to accept.

"Man can consider this concept as unjust karma if he does not understand its importance in human evolution. He is shaping his own life; this is how it goes each time. He fulfils himself little by little by completing the initial outline which he must polish – up to the point of perfection.

"It will take time and awareness to make him see life from that point of view. Then he will be helped by a spiritual process. He will no longer advance alone in the darkness of ignorance. This precious help will support him in his efforts – which will necessarily be crowned with success."
