Your health ordeals make your life seem unbearable. You should consider that each moment of life is a grace: that of surpassing yourself, of fulfilling yourself, of progressing towards the goal with a view to reaching perfection. Do not forget it, my child.

"Humanity, in its diversity, is amazing. Each specimen belonging to it has been born; it lives, suffers and dies. The same process applies to all, but within these very clear lines there is such complexity that no life resembles another in the long run.

"How many lives must man lead to be liberated from the cycle of reincarnations, to find fulfilment as a divine being? This number cannot be defined with human measurements.

"Who is this man: king or beggar, rich or poor, simple-minded or exceptionally gifted? Has he a veneer capable of amazing his fellow being or does he sink into misery like an outcast avoided by those who believe they are superior because they are well off! Each incarnation is full of resources; all human beings go through --Reflections

these states. It is better not to look down one's nose at the poor wretch who struggles to survive; those who are well off will experience the same fate.
