Let your heart be always more focused on spiritual values. They are the recourse in all circumstances. This reflex is acquired over time. It is a person's safest shield against all the vicissitudes of this world.

Develop this protected space within yourself and strengthen it with all the facets of faith. They are innumerable and rich in the possibilities they offer. You get rejuvenated every day through a profound meditation, uniting yourself to the inner Master. This ritual in your life takes a choice and irreplaceable place, letting you appreciate a feast that has no equal at the table of kings. The latter is comparatively gross, since it satisfies one's senses and corresponds to physical appetites. In the feast being mentioned here, all is subtle and related to the Divine, meeting the soul's need for God.

Taste these joys, my child. In this domain there is no unfortunate dependence: only a jubilation of the soul, absolutely exemplary.

Develop love within yourself. Let it overwhelm you, charm you to the extent of becoming necessary to you at every moment. The great mystics, completely immersed in this divine source, take a breath in this world only when necessary.

The rest of the time, they drink in the nectar, not letting themselves be affected by the baseness of the human race. Attend to your own business, your heart remaining united to your Master, who guarantees your heart's elevation. Put all the rest into

perspective. Do your level best to attend to your daily life and quickly come and rejuvenate at the eternal source of life, which is inexhaustible. Your heart calls us strongly; be blessed, my child.
