What you must all understand well is that all is grace. The very fact of living is a grace; all the tribulations you have to go through give you the means to grow. The joys, the tragedies, are part of this vast programme, and you hold in your hands the very tool for your evolution. Accepting trials with gratitude is a great grace. This may seem difficult for you to admit. You say: we are not saints, this is worth nothing to us. Even if these assertions are beyond you, know that at some stage in your journey, in this life or another, you will understand this reasoning and will fully adhere to it.

Human beings, throughout their lives, are in search of happiness, of a quiet and uneventful life, or rather a beautiful story, like the fairy tales that mothers tell small children, where everything is done to keep the wicked at bay and avoid tragedies.

It is up to you all to write your own tale, a beautiful story where you advance with great strides, carried by a real desire to attain nirvana one day, to free yourselves from your chains and to be the happiest creatures of your divine Master.
