One should not be a mere victim of progress; you must all make an effort and adapt yourselves to modern technology in areas where it can simplify your life, such as the fax machine that you are delighted to have. In the future, you will have to keep up with the acceleration of change in all areas, especially in communication. All these means greatly help my son to keep in touch with the various corners of the world where Sahaj Marg is established.

People today have more and more spare time; do they always use it advisedly? Many invest themselves in defending humanitarian causes; famous personalities make use of their reputation to serve the same. How many others do it behind the scenes to help their neighbours in different areas; there is so much to do.

It is very commendable to invest oneself in the field or in any other way.

There will come a time when solidarity will have to play out to the full. Humanity's most beautiful destiny would be to see effective mutual aid between people, at all levels. Such is our hope and wish at the end of this millennium, so that fraternity is no longer an empty word.
