Life is not kind to those who try to thwart its great plans; much evidence has been given in this respect, in our way as well. To give one's body and soul in the service of a great cause is to engage in the movement of life, in its noblest and most creative expression.

"Preparing the ground here and there for its creativity, it manages to build what must be on Earth, in the service of an evolving humanity. Our way takes its place in this vast movement, supported by the impulses of a large and subtle body, decisive in terms of its scope in the service of men. Each one of our aspirants, through his commitment and his work – both personal and collective – takes part in this vast endeavour that is beneficial to all.

"Our Mission has soared over the past fifty years; it will spread swiftly wherever hearts are ready to receive its benefits. We can be delighted, as things are off to a good start and the higher authorities appreciate this. Everything is done in this world to help men find their true reference marks as beings authentically emanating from the Divine.

"Each one follows his own tendencies, according to his origins on Earth and his opportunities. The future will shake up all ancestral traditions; it will tend to unify [people's] minds on a higher reality.

"We are working towards this in our system. All are involved, in this respect. A great unifying movement will emerge from these troubled times, of which Sahaj Marg will be one of the influential elements.

"All has its raison d'être; may all our brothers adhere to these remarks and be shaped accordingly."

Life is one and indivisible, all is in all – these formulas are eternal. The various forms of spirituality are structured around this concept.

"With regard to our system, it is preferable, for the multitude of hearts that are seeking, to remain focused on a very simple approach to principles, since a thorough study does not necessarily bring the seeker to the source of life. Making an advanced intellectual detour would only delay him and even mislead him onto a path that is not recommended in our way.

"On the contrary, our method aims to bring the being back to the source, without going indirectly. Returning to simplicity is essential. Our aspirants should not lose sight of this important aspect of their process.

"For too long, man has been seeking God through the risky way of academic knowledge. It is not useless, far from it, but it is worth stressing that the true quest lies elsewhere. Its source is in him, in self-discipline and meditation; without this attitude, everything remains in vain.

"The heart is the best vehicle in this business. It is the primary concern, hence our action on it, which entails appropriate work. This work is not obvious to beginners, who seek and receive according to their openness. Only time and practice will truly be able to enlighten them.

"Nothing is obtained without personal commitment, so will it always be, and our way does not escape the rule. The newcomers must abide by some rules before reaping the promising fruit thereof; they are helped to this end and blessed."
