Detach yourself from what is useless. You are not unaware of the truth concerning this world; therefore, put things into perspective, my child.

"Develop yourself with regard to your spiritual course – only it matters. Be patient and endure with courage, as you always have, this speech that you know. Actually, it is not useless to repeat it, and this is valid for all our aspirants, whatever their level of commitment on the path.

"Human nature always reasserts itself. This fight has to be carried on until the end, in order to triumph over the weaknesses which it generates. The results achieved are all the more praiseworthy. Man advances, he sometimes stumbles and then gets up again. The battle can be hard but only the victory is to be considered.

"Following a spiritual way helps one understand why it is necessary to go through so many ordeals; they are necessary and nobody can escape them, such are the laws. Rebelling is useless, except if it then leads to an effective awareness, shaping the being's intangible aspects.

"The greatest Beings lived on this Earth and suffered oh so much. Their lives are examples on all levels, and their many ordeals should not be lost sight of.

"All should remain confident in spite of everything. This is not easy to accept. Going until the end of one's incarnation leads to many rewarding experiences. What matters is only one's state of mind when they were taking place and the resulting acceptance.

This work, the product of your efforts, will bear fruit in the hearts. Many will be receptive to this speech that is stripped of superfluity and in accordance with their own journey.

"Reaching hearts does not require the twists and turns of the intellect, which revels in complexity. Our goal is different; it aims to elevate the soul within the seeker by finding a condition conducive for its expansion.

"To bring him back to simplicity and plainness, far from the many pitfalls of an artificial life where each one must prove oneself and come to terms with oneself one way or the other – this is the difficulty. This journey on Earth is short; man must take advantage of it in order to foster his progression on the way to wisdom.

"We choose this means to touch our brothers – most of whom are grappling with the complexity of life – to try to bring them back to a more accurate appreciation of things.

"The most affluent can lose everything instantly: health, or property that is tangible or emotional. Nothing is permanent, and that is something they lose sight of. Nothing is forever, especially not this life on Earth, although they seem to forget this in many circumstances.

"They fight to secure their social position; this is the normal situation, but in doing so, they often harm their neighbours. To develop oneself while respecting others is praiseworthy; there are so many possible ways that do not impede conventions relating to divine laws.
