My child, you know how to love simply, without any of those complications which some humans delight in adding to it. Your heart is surrendered, joyful and free; it made its choices a long time ago. It knows that true love is free of any reasoning. It loves, that is what matters to it, as it has understood that love has to be lived spontaneously, in a state of perfect surrender.

"To reach this stage, some of our brothers have to engage in a long process of working on themselves; this is demanded by the learning process of life. The various tests which man must undergo make him confront himself, without any other recourse but his own strength. In these moments, he can assess his own assets.

"Is the faith developed in him of great help? He can assess the progress made by taking stock and taking into account his own reactions. He notes that he has grown, that sadhana made him grow stronger inside and led him to see life in a different light.

"From now on, he will move forward serenely, being cognisant that, for him also, the journey is initiatory and he will put all his heart into making a complete success of it."

Move forward, guided by our light; may your eyes follow it and not linger longer than needed on this world. Detach yourself from it; go on your way to complete what you came for, by letting life glance off you without any real effect on you. Do what you have to, no more no less. Do not let yourself get caught by the inevitable worries inherent in the material world.

"Thus by acting spontaneously in the face of problems, man hardens himself. He cannot avoid the strokes of fate, but his prompt reactions make him stronger in front of adversity. He is granted a lifetime for learning. This initiatory process is the best thing that can happen to him, whereby he can make the most of all arising circumstances.

"Every day, life brings him its share of experiences. The smallest in his eyes can prove enlightening, if he actually wants to consider it wisely.

"By taking the trouble to listen to the voice of his heart, he will be guided and will emerge victorious from his trials – as the best thing is what he will have developed inside himself, in terms of greatness and strength. Every small victory won over himself is precious in many respects."
