Make efforts so that brotherhood reigns among you. Leave aside, at least in your spiritual life, your tendency of rejecting certain people, the petty jealousies which you feel inside and which are not justified. Rejoice for the promotions of your brothers; you should consider them as a necessity in the organisation of the Mission.

"You should never think you are forgotten, useless; you know very well deep down that it is nothing of the sort. You should keep a check on yourself with rigour; behave like adults, conscious of being equal within the group. The greatness of the Mission must result from this cohesion. You should be candidates interested by all that can enable you to grow favourably on all planes.

"We try with these recommendations to make you become aware of certain negative thoughts which still disturb your mind. Dismiss them pitilessly and you will feel relieved and strong.

"Faith must be your standard; carry it joyfully, with your head held high, released from an overwhelmed mental state."

You should try to understand fully that all that occurs around you is conducive to your evolution, if you can manage it well. Disappointments, frictions with your fellow men, their changeable and sometimes unpleasant attitudes, represent a treasure for you. If you take things philosophically, you will grow in detachment. We do not expect you to be constantly successful; some achievements from time to time will lead you into the habit of reacting differently, even if in reality your character does not change much.

"We suggest a way of doing things that will make you stronger. We have said it enough; we are not righters of wrongs. In all fields of life, an instructor – a sports trainer, a fencing master or a mountain guide – must guide your steps, point out the mistakes you should avoid in your training. They do all that to make of you a master in their art. The same applies to spirituality; we follow you with the greatest attention and especially with love."
