The years to come will bring about changes in the world. Difficult times will come and it will be necessary to be well equipped to adapt oneself, equipped emotionally and spiritually – which constitutes an appreciable refuge. Difficulties of all sorts will arise, and men in certain countries, more particularly, will have to face up to things. In Europe, you enjoy easier living conditions, compared to many countries on this Earth, and yet, we hear only complaints and we see only dissatisfaction, including among many abhyasis who are never happy. This way of being is not limited to this part of the world, but it is all the more surprising since this is the most privileged [region]. In all times, and for many people, faith enables them to face up to the difficulties of life. It is the recourse that can create some bright spots in quite gloomy existences. We keep receiving calls; humanity is suffering in many ways.

"Spirituality does not provide answers to all problems; but it elevates hearts towards a world freed from the pangs in which they are plunged. These remarks are not exaggerated; they are well short of the truth. Humans cannot grasp the sad reality of this world, but to us, it unfolds with utmost truth. Think of all this and pray to God so that the status of this planet changes."

Dear child, we have taken over your heart for a long time; it is the object of our care. You desire to advance on the way to perfection; your efforts are commendable. This way is long and requires the greatest attention. Continue to work as you are doing, while trying to do your best, and especially to open your heart more and more to the love you venerate. Your discoveries concerning it are just beginning; in its real essence, it is not easily accessible to humans. By engaging in this luminous way out of your natural inclination, you have understood that it was the driving force of the world, and of creation as a whole. An aspect of this manifestation is badly perceived because it is likened to human love, which is a poor imitation of it. It manifests itself in the entire universe in forms which humans cannot easily understand. It has its own laws; they are rigorous and applied in this spirit. To cultivate love inside oneself is to open a sacred door, not easily accessible to those who are not deeply determined and lack innate abilities.

"To love God and one's Master, while freeing oneself as much as possible from human inclinations and motivations, is not as easy as it seems. It is by working seriously on oneself and devoting oneself more and more to spiritual practice that all favourable conditions can be established. Be blessed as you are advancing in this way of progress and love; don't forget that surrender is a precious key in this business."
