When you become aware of this parallel life in you, a step is taken towards fusion, the ultimate goal of your spiritual journey. It takes much time and patience to arrive at this outcome. When you reach this point, you will have gone a long way characterised by many incarnations that will have punctuated it. The fruits produced by them, their quality and the subtlety of their smell, will be decisive in this achievement. This step forward rigorously counts all that can enrich it. When your objective is well targeted, your efforts necessarily bear fruit; it cannot be otherwise.

"Nothing is lost in this subtle game of the progress of a soul towards the main thing. Imagine the total union – sublime – of its pure essence, having attained the height of glory, as it merges into the Great Whole. The way is long, difficult, but it is rightly rewarded. The greatest spiritual Masters said it to you: what they did, you also can do. All you have to do is to have a will. The time it will take you to succeed in this doesn't matter much, only the final result does and this prospect must motivate and enrich you."
