We know that doubt will never stop suffusing in you. The main thing is that, in spite of that, you do fulfil your role as a scribe. It is your capabilities which you are questioning regularly, and not the fact, which you consider as normal, that we can communicate. This gift conditions your life; you cannot react to it like the majority of your fellow creatures, since you get a glimpse of the prospect of an elsewhere every day. Real artists also are mediums of another type: they generally capture sounds, forms and colours from another world, and these perceptions inspire their work.
"The great works that influenced humanity, and will continue to do so, are the fruit of this special communion. Man, by nature, is not creative enough. This kind of inspiration is not recognised as such, and yet man by himself does not actually create; he is a piece on the large chessboard, operated by the hand of a giant. His pride may lead him to think that he is a genius; he is only a servant subjected to the goodwill of his Master."
