You believe you are playing in the big league, but since nursery school, you have not changed much on certain aspects. Your reactions have remained simplistic. You have got a veneer, an apparent wisdom, but you squabble for a mere nothing. It is enough to be observing you as a group to notice if there is dissension. Don't you have better things to do? Do not play this game, avoid groundless frictions, do not waste your energies on mere nothings.

"The internal organization of the ashram does not present great difficulties. These are conflicts of people, of ego, and in some cases of the settling of scores between them. Some little dialogue and mutual respect would be enough for peace to reign. Avoid creating clans, be united in spite of your differences, and go beyond them by considering only the most important: the Master. He is your rallying point!

"Brotherly bonds must help you to become aware of the uselessness of your quibbling. Respect the other, his way of seeing things; it is not yours, but it may not be wrong. Remove your blinkers, stop your childishness, you have better things to do.

"Do not believe you are the only ones who see things right; do not let some troublemakers stir up ill feelings. Think that when you meditate together, harmony reigns and should continue after the satsangh. You have a treasure inside yourself; make sure that your condition is not disturbed by useless details. You have the same goal; remain united through the heart to that of your Master—you will move away from all this interesting human movement."
