I also had to fight to correct my faults. There are deep-seated tendencies. It takes perseverance to depart from them, at least, to try to improve oneself. Nobody is perfect; so don't beat your breast. The only fact of being incarnate carries a whole trail of human failings. It is a common carrier-path. Nobody, even great beings, can escape it. Only the divine jewel, which is inside you, is pure and spotless. Do not believe you are the only people struggling to get rid of some faults. They pertain to human history. Make efforts, and, while moving towards the goal like Tom Thumb, drop behind you these few stones that burden you. They will show the way you have come. Then, you will advance cheerfully."
