A soul can grow only if it is imbibed with love. Then, its needs keep growing; it is in the nature of things. The physical body is subjected to the same principle in its development, although its food differs, and this development is restricted to a short stay on Earth, contrary to the soul that is immutable and eternal.

"A thorough spiritual process reveals that need and then determines the progress of the aspirant. At the beginning, he is motivated by reason. Other criteria will then appear and contribute to the development of the spiritual dimension including that propensity to love, the driving force indispensable to any quest. It gives it all its panache, its ardour justifying that which, one day, will be its achievement.
