Love your Master as much as you love me, you will make me so happy. He would like to communicate humanly with you, but language is a serious barrier, in addition to that which you have mutually created. This behaviour is childish; please, do me a favour and let go your heart completely ... It's high time after all these years spent in the Mission!

"My son carries a heavy burden. He needs love, not idolatry, a love commensurate with his spiritual person. A love as we understand it: true, spontaneous, going towards him directly from your heart to his. We don't ask more of you. There is no need for letter or fax to express to him what you feel. Your good thoughts represent a force; they are combined with others and reach him inevitably. Do that; love him while being respectful of his human nature and his spiritual dimension."
