The loneliness of a Master is great. Whom can he trust? So many approaches are tainted with self-interest; a true love, which is not, is rare. Over time, many disappointments make of him a lonely man. He can only rely on a few people, hence his distrust when facing many situations. You should all understand him and not be astonished by any of his reactions.

He lives on Earth to carry out his mission; this exile far from us weighs heavily on him and we understand his desire to meet the end of it, but he must see it through. Therefore, always try to understand your Master and love him beyond all else, to see in him the supreme guide who, being incarnate like each of you, can do an enormous work in your favour. If he is not available, smiling and at your disposal as many would like him to be, what he achieves for you is much more important than all sorts of civilities which would please you, but which are not of paramount importance. Trust him and never expect him to become a father, a friend. He is all that at the same time, but above all, he is a Master whose greatness you cannot imagine.
