How many lessons are necessary to bring the human being to where he or she needs to be. Advancing and being strengthened leads to a purifying state in which the soul regains serenity. Finding one’s way here on Earth is a grace, and receiving the blessings of a living Master and a hierarchy possessing powers of divine essence is an indescribable benefit. Saving time in this manner is important; one must go through so many steps in order to overcome the obstacles of a negative material plane. The Sahaj Marg way neither promises marvels nor suggests images that can stir the seeker’s dreams. On the contrary, Sahaj Marg places the seeker face-to-face with a reality: the need to advance with the help of a simple but decisively effective practice. Why would a human being not move towards the discovery of his or her own being? This subtlety of the being is ignored by science, as it is still so far from the material realm; they stand a world apart.
