If you knew the hidden side of history, you would be astonished (Joan of Arc's life is an example of this) and disappointed by all this legend which surrounds the lives of some personalities of Christianity.

Other religions have not escaped this, though to a lesser extent, but some facts have been greatly amplified and embellished.

Christian history is particularly rich in this respect.

What have they not done or said, these ecclesiastical authorities, to soften opinion and retain the faithful, despite crimes perpetrated in the name of faith.

The teaching of the Master [Jesus], stripped of all the mythical attributes that have come to be added to it, is so beautiful.

One must retain only that, and never forget the faith and devotion it has been generating for centuries, while helping millions of souls.
