I also had to struggle to correct my shortcomings. There are stubborn tendencies. It takes perseverance to get rid of them – at least, to try to improve oneself. No one is perfect, so don't beat your breast. The very fact of being incarnated brings a whole procession of human failings. It is the obligatory passage; no one, not even great beings, can escape it.

Only the divine jewel that is inside you all is pure and spotless.

Do not believe you are the only ones struggling to eliminate some faults. They are part of the human story.

Make an effort, and while moving towards the goal, like Tom Thumb, drop behind you these few stones that burden you. They will show the way you have come.

Then, you will advance cheerfully.
