Man's only and true recourse is God. His only certainty lies in this spiritual dimension, unalterable in time. On Earth, everything changes, evolves and is transformed. God does not change. He is there, immutable and serene, listening to men who actually want to turn to Him and regard Him as such. In His greatness and His kindness, He listens to them all, whether they are aware of His reality or not. The human being is lucky in that he is not only dust, which is incapable of resisting the influence of time; his life outlives this body of flesh, so fragile and destructible. His true personality lies elsewhere and is not subjected to the fluctuations of this Earth. It is only a step in the long process of a soul squaring its accounts with the passing time and incarnations. God enthrals the souls that recognise Him, as they are carried away by His love, both subtle and powerful. They can recognise the distinguished Guest who lives in them and grant to Him all the love and the gratitude due to Him."
