Your desire will be granted; moreover, it corresponds with ours. You know the difficulties we encounter in France and the decisions they lead us to make. It's upsetting, but what can one do against such forces? In the past, you could all have thought there was some exaggeration in our comments. You can all see now, and will see even more in the future, that such was not the case.

Fortunately the Mission is taking off in other countries where freedom of thought and action is intact. On this issue, France should review the slogan that used to characterize her. Don't be saddened by the new rules that will be implemented in this country, as well as in other neighbouring countries. Old Europe is like a great, old and frail lady, submissive to a powerful ancestral entity that reemerges when one has imagined it to have weakened. Your devotion and your practice must not be affected; on the contrary, future ordeals should reinforce them.

The Mission advances, the Mission grows, so be it in your hearts. Continue, all of you, on your way, in spite of the abusive politics of this country. Your aspiration to go forward must not slow down on any account.
