Human beings are far from perfect, and our brothers and sisters illustrate this point in a striking way. Engaging in a spiritual approach doesn't remove the negative aspects of each of them as quickly as would be desirable. The objective is for them to move towards perfection, and this can't be achieved after a few years of Sahaj Marg; that would be too easy. We must therefore bear with one another, taking into consideration the strengths, rather than the weaknesses, of our fellow human beings. It's easier to look at others than it is to see oneself in all objectivity.
Some faults are rather difficult to bear, coming from a brother or a sister placed, not without reason, in one's way. Life is a whole, and one must be satisfied with that or risk slowing down one's own evolution. Some people have particular gifts, others don't; everyone receives the tools necessary for their life plan. The world is a whole, and people need each another. It's with humility that they must consider this aspect of things. Uniformity would be disastrous and a great monotony for all.
To progress on a spiritual path is a blessing offered to all human beings. It's up to them to make the effort; in this regard, they cannot envy their fellow humans, as they all have the same opportunity from the start. Each and every one must take responsibility for themselves; before God, no calculating or pretension of any kind is valid.
The greatest objectivity is required in this field, more than in any other. We accompany our aspirants on this long path, sometimes painful and uncertain in terms of the future. Faith, confidence and surrender are still imperative, once again we come to this conclusion.
Blessed are all these beings, in the grip of their own traps, as they advance towards deliverance. God is great.
