Compassion is an element of the spiritual life. It is its driving force and shows the capacity of a heart to be moved by the misfortune of its fellow human beings.

All humans are equal; born of the Divine, they bear identical characteristics, albeit manifested differently in human eyes. Compassion and love are but one: to love one's neighbour is to love God, the Creator of all things, unifying the entire creation in in one and the same energy. Inseparable, the various elements articulate with each other, dazzling in their diversity and constituting a harmonious whole, rich in teaching. To love one's Master, infinitely, is to have integrated this higher principle, leading one to consider the points mentioned above as established. To love the spiritual person of the Master means managing to integrate into an expanded level of consciousness, leaving aside human sentimentality as it often manifests itself, without real consistency since it fluctuates according to events.

The disciples' commitment to their Master goes beyond all that; they refrain from judging, recognizing that they don't hold the keys to knowledge, which is a matter of Divine power. True disciples are surrendered, trustful and reassured; they know that, having made this commitment, they have made the right choice. They also know, having surpassed the framework of existential questionings, where they are going and under

what conditions. Faith at this level is a person's greatest treasure; may our path help our brothers and sisters progress in this direction.
