In the coming century, scientists will discover a primordial element concerning the spiritual life of human beings. High-tech will enable them to go quite far in the exploration of the human body, of the heart in particular, which we have just been speaking about. They will discover new and important elements of the nervous and lymphatic systems that are communication networks between all the organs, with impulses or orders coming from the brain and the heart. The real functions of the heart will then be brought to light. Those who are in the right will have to fight, as always, to bring their views to the foreground. Four centuries ago, one didn't even know that the heart had anything to do with blood circulation. It was a mystic2 who understood it and whose views prevailed. These concepts, as well as the overall reality of the heart, were already known in very ancient civilizations. That should give a little more humility to some of the so-called scientists of this time. Could the next century be called the Age of Enlightenment?
