Memories, good and otherwise, constitute the substance of a life wherein everything is counted and remembered. Such are the laws of Karma. Every human being must come to terms with their own. Karma results from past lives, through which so many stories have followed one another to bring the human being into his or her current situation. All this is very mysterious for a person – how can one make sense of what is given? Each piece of the puzzle constitutes an important element for the continuation and progression of events, on this long Karmic journey. Here more than elsewhere, surrender is warranted; in the broad outline, nothing can be changed.

The will to do what is right, to conform to the higher power, opens new perspectives.

Everything is counted, down to the smallest detail; this is amazing for the human being. How can such meticulousness be achieved in the workings of divine laws, which operate here below with extreme rigour.

'Doesn't everything have its raison d'être.' In this domain, surrender is and will remain, as always, the inescapable recurring theme. Everything is for the best in the kingdom of heaven and for the abhyasi on his or her personal journey. This is how it is.
