Detaching from what is unnecessary, seeing only the good and the beautiful in all things, allows one to focus particularly on what is essential, that which is decisive in a life. How many struggles and trials must be overcome in order to understand the true purpose of an incarnation. A human being cannot know everything about his or her past history; what is done is done. No one can change anything about what exists, but everything is possible from this moment on. Many of our abhyasis understand this, they work accordingly, and every step taken from this perspective is decisive for the future. Everything is counted, very much so. Thought is an act, and this should surely be considered. Self-control is not always easy when one feels assaulted in one way or another, and yet this is to be considered. Efforts must be made in this direction in order to attain the goal. Perseverance and faith are decisive in this very special design, in which everything has been foreseen and counted, and this for a long time. To do one's best, with faith and confidence, is the wisdom that is appropriate.
