Nothing is ever lost, and everything is counted – the good and the bad. The ledgers of time are irrefutable; no one can circumvent them. It is better to accept them and benefit from the experience they hold. No one is perfect. Each and every human being has their own karma, their own memory, included in the grand scheme of life here below and elsewhere. To progress, to refine oneself, is a process rich with effects in this life. It takes so many experiences and trials for one to accept 'reality', that of the divine power whose effects cannot be circumvented in the least particle of life. Sahaj Marg strives to get to the essential – every human being's time is counted. What does this signify at a higher level of consciousness? Everything has its raison d'être, as we have said often enough. What may seem trivial can be decisive in a life. This life is rarely what a human being would want it to be. The accumulation of experiences benefits those who are wise. It takes time to understand what is ultimately necessary and essential for personal progress and the elevation of the soul. So many subtleties elude the common mortal; no one is all knowing. Surrender, love, at the subtlest level, remains one's most precious asset. Human beings can integrate this principle – they have that capability. It is up to each one to act accordingly; a vast horizon is opening before them. The best is within their reach, under our blessings.
