A life is never simple. How many struggles there must be to develop at all levels and to accept oneself, as well as those around us. Nothing is easy, yet facing up to things and taking charge of oneself develops the inner strength required to go to the end of this journey. Incarnations follow one another and are similar in some respects. This reality is still far from being accepted in certain cultures, and that is most unfortunate. A day will come when the whole truth will be known regarding this reality, so important for the understanding of one's own existence.

Really knowing oneself in relation to this long series of reincarnations would be revealing of the true personality of each one. It goes far beyond family antecedents, these playing only a small role in this pattern; although they should not be overlooked, they are not decisive. 'Know thyself' is a beautiful axiom, yet reality goes well beyond all assumptions and is determined by each one's inescapable karma.
