Human reactions are unpredictable; people are confronted with the movement of life and they must adapt to it – at all costs. Trials build them up and are far more necessary than they think. The true refuge is that of spirituality, which allows one to put into perspective the reality that dwells within. An incarnation is short in the face of eternity; how many incarnations has a person experienced, and what have those incarnations brought? The question is vast and largely unanswered. One must be content with what is offered in the current incarnation and make the most of it. It is not always easy to resign oneself to the many adversities an incarnation holds; only the positive should be remembered, yet it is not always easy to see things from this point of view. Doesn't everything have its raison d'être!
Each step is necessary and should be considered from the best angle, even if seemingly adverse circumstances cloud one's judgement. A day will come when the reasons for them will seem more just. Nothing is simple. It can take some time to understand the need for trials, the multiple sufferings that mark a life. The certainty of an elsewhere is a precious asset. Knowledge comes with time; moving forward in the discovery of this process brings solace and a way to consider the future differently. Spiritual commitment is in some way the outcome of this long journey, whereby – from one incarnation to another – a promising edifice emerges, leading towards the
culmination of this journey. Achieving the ultimate goal – is it not the supreme reward! Abhyasis are followed and supported accordingly; they are so highly blessed.
