We carry our dear great son Parthasarathi in our own manner. Although he is wrapped in a cocoon of light, the important role he assumes in this beautiful Mission is very heavy to bear. Our constant presence by his side is not enough to protect him from everything at the human level. Such is the role of a living Master; all of them experienced difficult situations, regardless of the period in which they lived, and they have emerged from their trials greater than ever.

Divine laws are not easy for humans to understand. "Why hast thou forsaken me?" asked a Great Master of the past in a moment of extreme suffering. The greatness of a being is often determined by his or her passage through harsh trials. Our path is no exception to the rule, and on this matter there is no practical guidebook to follow; common sense, loyalty and spiritual greatness are the marks of the one who is chosen. It is not always easy for the aspirant to understand the actions and reactions of a Master, from day to day, with the decisions that must be made. Nothing is simple, you can be sure; however great an incarnate Master, he goes through moments of great physical and moral suffering. It is inevitable. All our abhyasis must understand and respect this fact. The divine laws are not easy for humans to grasp, given their complexity. Aspirants must be guided by love and surrender alone, without constantly asking themselves the

same questions about the complexity of life. All is written and inescapable, thus in the hands of this infinite power and the Masters!
