Acting to facilitate spiritual evolution gives meaning to life. In this world, everything is just an illusion. An incarnation is short in the face of eternity. From life to life is built that which is essential for the elevation of the soul – there lies the goal to be reached. Acting accordingly is a sign of wisdom; understanding that reality is already a big step forward. So many men and women ignore, and choose to ignore, this aspect of their passage here below. The evolution of beings allows them to perceive this process – an attribute of this humanity whose advancement is made possible by a practice developed for that purpose. We are not the only ones; other ways also contribute. Becoming aware of what is lacking is a step forward. Our abhyasis are human beings, with their characters, their faults and everything that makes up their personalities. When a first step is taken towards such a practice, there is every reason to be hopeful. It is wonderful and very heartening to see a soul awaken to higher consciousness. We are repeating ourselves, but how can we do otherwise – this fact is significant at the current level of evolution in the material world. We wish that all our aspirants may rise and truly understand the reasons for such a commitment. It bears very promising fruit; we do insist and will do so time and again for the sake of all those who trust us, even if they can sometimes be assailed by doubt. Such reactions are human. Spiritual advancement takes place at another level; there one acquires, and continues to acquire over time, what is essential for the beauty of a soul.
