Are our brothers and sisters aware of a spiritual Master’s burden? It does not seem so. His duties manifest well beyond this world. Such a commitment is total; at this level, leading a Mission of this importance requires a number of qualities in addition to those of the spiritual dimension. Sahaj Marg is growing and expanding across the world and it has only just begun. The Mission must be structured and strengthened at all levels and – above all – it must prevent our brothers and sisters committed to service from developing an oversized ego. That does not serve our way at all – quite the opposite – and it deeply harms their advancement. Everyone is trying to do their best, but the manifestations of character are there. It is advisable to keep them in check and to ensure that certain behaviours do not hinder what is essential to their spiritual journey. Respect for the Master is paramount; faith and commitment are essential for mastering the many aspects discussed here. We trust all these committed people. We are helping them in more than one way, and we make sure that everyone finds personal fulfilment in this long journey towards the goal. A spiritual Master must be respected, revered and loved in the most noble and most beautiful manner there is. May everyone realise how great our attention is towards them in every respect. May all our brothers and sisters advance in this way of love and divest themselves of all that is useless.
