My dearest son, Although we monitor your every step throughout your heavy task, it is imperative that we come to you to ask you to be reasonable, to rest. Your health requires it. You have given so much of yourself over all these many years; it is time for a change in your lifestyle that is no longer suitable to the reality of a wearied physical body. Your body deserves every possible care: rest, tranquillity and all the attention your divine person requires. You have always done the maximum. You have nothing to reproach yourself with. Who can say that! You are our beloved son, and your well-being matters to us more than anything. We are asking you this with all the fervour associated with what you represent for the Mission and for us. Be reasonable, won't you?

This is what we expect from you. Your very heavy ministry should not harm your health to that extent. This is what we expect from you at this time of year when it is customary in many countries to exchange wishes. Here is ours, you know it now. Therefore, you should make us happy. Spare yourself. You have given the maximum; what more do you wish? Travels are no longer needed at this point. We cannot tolerate your health being threatened in this way. This is today's pressing request. It is the highest expression of our love, since your well-being matters to us more than anything. The same song is rising up to you, that of our hearts --The Final Step
