For the Birthday of Parthasarathi Maharaj, July 24

There are distinctive moments in our Mission – those commemorating the birth anniversaries of the Masters. They should be red-lettered, as the saying goes. In addition, these days are blessed; you cannot imagine the extent to which the anniversary of each Master in our Mission should be vividly remembered. We strongly urge that this aspect not be overlooked; it is critical. Time will pass, but this fact must still be obvious; it would be a serious breach of divine laws to ignore it.

These special days in a spiritual way like ours are necessary pauses. They allow one and all to make their own assessment, to turn within and review to the smallest detail that which would constitute an intense and constructive spiritual life at this level. Such days are needed more than is thought by the majority of our brothers and sisters – those who don't really engage in a process of thought and actions representing a spiritual ideal of peace and love. May each one of them ponder this precise point: In what way can I do more, do better for the elevation of my spiritual being?

Opportunities exist; we offer many possibilities to all. It is up to each person to take what is offered and to make the most of it. Time is running out for all. --The Final Step
