Babuji's Birthday – Message 2

Every birthday celebration is important. Each one is a milestone, both a culmination and a prospect for expansion in our Mission. These anniversaries must continue to have their full impact and provide a needed break for our abhyasis, allowing them a period of reflection capable of reinforcing their commitment.

Everywhere in the world, these events should be celebrated. They give structure to our Mission, and they make our abhyasis aware of its strength, on the one hand, and their personal commitment on the other. These milestones are valuable and necessary, and they should in no way lose importance in the face of passing time. All our brothers and sisters need to take time to pause, to interiorise themselves and truly assess the full extent and power of such a journey. This journey changes their lives in such a way that their spiritual outlook can then withstand the various activities of the material world.

Let us stress that the importance of these days devoted to the founding Masters of the Sahaj Marg Mission should defy time. It is up to each one to become aware of this and to act accordingly, as best they can.
