Birthday of Parthasarathi Maharaj

Very happy birthday, my son! This is worth saying again and again here, where a steady flow of love runs from our hearts to yours. On this special day, many of our brothers and sisters are united in the same thought, the love and respect they hold for you. This union of hearts is a force whose power they cannot conceive; in return, they benefit from it and its cohesive effect. It is this, among other things, that reinforces the importance of these special days in our Mission. The birthday celebrations of the Masters must continue, and not fade with time as days of lesser import do. All the celebrations have their own specific importance.

Isn't it said that unity is strength? In these days of grace on Earth, it is the power of the Spirit that manifests itself without being really noticeable to humans. May each of our abhyasis feel it and interiorise themselves enough to enjoy it. An invisible and powerful chain is created in this world; it is in line with the evolution of humans, who can be freed from their torments only through love, and not violence.

We are working towards that. It is up to all of you, united with your Master, to advance in this direction by developing inside yourselves this kind of energy. --Privilege of the Heart
