Long is the journey of life. It is fraught with ordeals, which are formative and necessary for a person’s evolution. Following a spiritual path such as Sahaj Marg saves valuable time; hurdles are cleared more easily, clarifying the effects of karma, and thereby enabling a personal attitude that is more in line with a real commitment. Being involved and advancing towards the goal opens up horizons and facilitates a way of life suitable for such progress. The heart opens up to grace, from which it benefits more substantially since it thus calls for it on a continuous basis. Then the journey towards the Eternal takes on its full meaning. Trials become more bearable, since they bring about each person’s advancement. All this is not easy to understand and, above all, to accept. Faith and surrender define the path more surely, being supported by grace; thus is the best achieved.
