Inside you lies a serenity that cannot falter. It is the ideal refuge where the best in a person is being developed, defying time during a period on Earth when one should not give up in the face of adversity. Each incarnation has its share of trials that must be overcome in order to develop oneself by using what one has acquired, whether positive or not. The way of Sahaj Marg illuminates the path, the most subtle there is, since it is personal and indispensable. An incarnation is planned in minute detail and no one can escape it. A spiritual Master himself can be surprised by his own destiny; he may not have imagined it as it is, and yet his path was chosen for him a very long time ago. Who can know his or her future and what life holds in store; even the Greatest Beings who have lived cannot. “Thus does the cycle of incarnations unfold – preplanned, and so subtle in its action. Divine laws are so complex that they completely elude the most astute human being: the reason for being born, dying and being reborn so many times – this principle is beyond the understanding of so many people who are ignorant of the very process of life and the numerous incarnations necessary for human evolution. Why hide this reality and suggest incorrect reasons devoid of true foundations; such is not our goal. Sahaj Marg does not exist in vain, and its action is undoubtedly productive. We can assess it and ensure that the greatest number can benefit from it under our blessings.”
