Nothing is ever lost, and everything is counted – the good and the bad. The ledgers of time are irrefutable; no one can circumvent them. It is better to accept them and benefit from the experiences they hold. No one is perfect. All human beings have their own karma, their own memory, included in the grand scheme of life here below and elsewhere. In the current life, the process of advancing and becoming refined is rich with effects. It takes so many experiences and trials for one to accept ‘reality’, that of the divine power whose effects cannot be overlooked in the slightest spark of life. Sahaj Marg strives to focus on that which is essential. Every human being’s time is counted. What is the significance of the being at a higher level of consciousness? Everything has its raison d’être, as we have said many a time. What may seem trivial can be decisive in a lifetime. Life is rarely what a human being wants it to be. The sum of experiences benefits those who are wise. It takes time to understand that which is ultimately needed and essential for personal progress and the elevation of the soul. So many subtleties elude the common mortal; no one has the innate knowledge. At the most subtle level, surrender combined with love is the most precious asset one has. This principle can be integrated, as it is within each one’s capabilities. When one acts accordingly, a vast horizon unfolds. The best is within reach, under our blessings.”
