The heart has its reasons: this is obvious in our comments. To serve is to demonstrate complete availability. When it is accepted as such, it bears its best fruit.
"To serve requires listening to the call of the heart, even if it is not entirely consistent with one's anticipated plans. Man makes plans, yet God arranges them differently, even more so when man is engaged in a process of service. The divine laws are infinitely subtle; they thwart all attempts that do not comply with them. By accepting this guidance, one progresses in the way of the Spirit while adapting to the circumstances, even if sometimes they are disconcerting and not in accordance with expectations. A human being plans his own life, and destiny shapes it in its own way. A seeker engaged in the way notes these differences, and he accepts them by considering the divine intervention in his process.
"From life to life, the subtle being is developed with a view to his fusion with the Ultimate, hence the need for listening and complete adherence to what an incarnation has in store. The current incarnation has to be considered carefully. Taking advantage of this opportunity is a sign of wisdom and shows the determination of the aspirant to rise. Within our way, he can find the necessary means; they are provided to him on the condition that he actually becomes aware of them and that he works accordingly. We help him, like other brothers and sisters who trust us and expect the best results from their practice. Each one

advances at one's own pace; they all have their own chance. The ways of God are unfathomable, but they answer a soul's sincere aspiration to rise."
