In you, my child, resides the strength as well as the capacity to forget your torments. Without ordeals, man's destiny could not be achieved; his stay on Earth would be useless, as he could not grow. Everything always leads back to the same notion: this inevitable course allows him a better approach to the Divine until, at last, he understands the true meaning of his incarnation.

"Laws are the same for all. Some beings apparently seem favoured in the eyes of the others, whereas they often carry a very heavy burden. Each person, when his time has come, is confronted with his karma and all its related aspects, which can sometimes be very testing. Actually, everything is necessary for him, the good and the bad alike. All has its raison d'être, which is not easy to admit. It is from his tests that man develops himself and becomes stronger, as far as his best aspects are concerned.

"How can all our aspirants be made to become aware of this necessity? Some admit it, while others remain sceptical. To follow a spiritual way means to grow, by accepting the benefit of all that it offers, with a view to [spiritual] elevation. This must motivate them to comply with their practice and the teaching of the Masters. The living Master and the Masters of the hierarchy who look after all our aspirants do everything possible to pave the way for them: the way of spiritual realisation, under the best auspices."
