The divine energy is in you; it suffices to judiciously receive it through a process capable of harmonising its manifestation. A spiritual Master with a high level of realisation works in this direction. Your surrendering to his divine capacities makes this work easier. A specialist in any area requiring special capabilities is sometimes referred to as a master.

"With regard to a spiritual way, this is an area where there is a particular need for a guide. Through his high competence, the living Master is empowered to oversee the work necessary for the evolution of the aspirant. When the seeker has really understood the meaning of this involvement and if he accepts it, a fruitful work can then start.

"Surrendering to the Master occurs in stages. As progression helps the aspirant better grasp the spirit of his process, he adheres completely to this principle. It takes time to understand the need for guidance like this. As the ego recedes, a true Master-disciple relationship can be established and become productive.

"All this is known to our abhyasis, but have they really integrated it into their deepest beings? Barriers must be raised one by one and lead to a more refined perception of the divine presence in oneself. The change takes place slowly, but it is effective.
