Your best self has the recourse of faith; the same happiness overwhelms you every time this communion is established with the Immutable. This ritual carries you to the shores of oblivion where you forget the material world, thus filling your soul that is thirsting for the Divine in these blessed moments.

"You have this privilege; many do not have it. They are vainly seeking outside for what they have within them. They expect everything of others and neglect what is essential, not being aware of their true nature. This is the human tragedy: many people think that everything starts and ends in this world, as they have no idea of what they really are.

"Men pursue pleasure at all costs, for what it is: inconsistent, deceptive, and sometimes harmful. May they one day discover the true meaning of life and work towards their evolution. Our abhyasis, our brothers and sisters, have passed this stage; they are opening up to knowledge, discovering their inner aspects that are immeasurable.

"This dimension remains to be explored; we give them the necessary means by providing spiritual assistance, without which awareness would not be effective. Man must grow in extending this consciousness that connects him to the divine forces.

"This is truly the start of a process that will lead him to an outcome conducive to the blooming of the soul, with the aim of total union and fusion with the Ultimate Splendour. This process will be long but its final goal will

inescapably bring the being back to the source of all life, where it aspires to be merged and to taste the joys of Immutable Peace.

Having the ability to love is a very precious gift, namely to love divinity, the living spiritual Master who is capable of representing this entity [divinity] on Earth. This entity is so special that it can transform a life and lead it to the highest level. These beings [spiritual Masters] are chosen from among so many others, but in actuality they are born for the purpose, without this being apparent to the eyes of humans. They have a mission: to enlighten beings and lead them to a path they have never imagined. Many of our brothers and sisters are in that situation at a specific time; their lives have changed course and they are committed to this way of Sahaj Marg. This way is growing in the world, and we are happy about that. What it is able to do in people’s hearts is not commonplace and unfolds over time, when it is received by divine grace. “Love at this level is a very special energy; what it is able to accomplish is beyond imagination. The human being is very small before it. It produces in hearts transformations that are capable, single-handedly, of enriching life in ways one would never expect. Following a spiritual path like this one saves precious time; these words are not hollow – they are real, and we are always able to note this with happiness. What is good for our brother and sister abhyasis can only make us happy; this is how it is.”
