My son is steering the Sahaj Marg vessel with the greatest insight. He is wise, well established and empowered in this disconcerting world of matter. He is coping, and he manages our Mission by taking into account human requirements and the established rules. Great moral fibre is necessary to assume this role, whose importance grows with time.

"It is not easy to learn how to understand humans, their behaviours, and the disconcerting reactions they can have in certain circumstances when a devastating ego gets the upper hand. The battle, since it actually is one, can be difficult, especially when it consists of making the best of a being prevail.

"A method like ours is an invaluable help; it allows the best of a being to emerge, to be divested of all the things that burden it and slow down its evolution. All our brothers and sisters aspire to the best; by choosing our way, they have understood that it offers them a rare opportunity of self-revelation in terms of their rare and their highest aspects.

"Aspiration for the Divine is inevitably felt in a human being; sooner or later he experiences it and he then looks for a way to meet this requirement which has emerged in him. Faith in a higher force is the prelude; devotion takes place in various forms until the moment when he has found his way.

"Each one has his own way. God is Great – Alleluia!"

Janaki is a great soul. She works for our Mission in the wake of her Master for whom she has so much love. He was her son on this Earth and very profound ties unite them far beyond this incarnation.

"All this is the mystery of life, in its many expressions. A great deal of love surrounds our son; we keep repeating this to him. Given the burden of his responsibilities, this constant attention cannot help him enough. The day his time on Earth comes to an end, he will be able to really measure the strength of these remarks, as he will be relieved of the obstacles of the material world and the limitations that characterise it.

"Our Mission will reach an important stage; it is good to emphasise this, even if nothing visible to men can express it, as it cannot be measured according to the standards of this world.

"To continue on, to act and to progress – this is what characterises our action on Earth and beyond. Our son will be able to give the necessary directives. As he himself has stressed, a spiritual Master must make decisions for the good of all, even if he knows he will not have unanimous support. His role is to lead our aspirants upwards and not to let them revel in their own worlds that they have created for themselves with a great many misconceptions.

"To progress is to forge ahead in all fields, and to be able to question oneself in situations where reason is not always a good counsellor, as it often excludes true wisdom.
