The way of the heart is blissful; it determines the beauty of the path. Love is the energy that animates it; nothing matches this power. To reach this universe in stages is a grace. Privileged people who go through this process do not really realise their luck; we can only remind them of it. The day all men reach this stage will be a day of liberation for humanity.

"Men are struggling and suffering. It is the lot of everyone. With varying degrees of acuity, each person's karma lays down the relevant rules. To reach a certain level of wisdom allows one to look at life in a different way: it is easier to understand its many manifestations and to accept its principles. Human nature is complex and fragile. One's balance is subjected to all kinds of pressures. Being easily influenced, he bustles about without realising, sometimes, the consequences of his acts.

"To progress in the way of the Spirit is the true solution for him – whether he realises it or not is another matter. It takes time for that as the soul opens slowly and manifests itself with caution. Only purity can bring it to this state.

"To follow the way of the heart is to meet a natural inclination of the being aimed at harmony in its entirety. All is simple, in reality. Man complicates everything. His mind misleads him into all sorts of concerns, which generally make him neglect what is essential.

"Our aspirants have understood the importance of our method wherein the intellect does not prevail. Their practice brings them back to the simplicity of the

heart, divested of the attributes of a so-called 'scientist', having understood that the truth was elsewhere."

Nothing escapes us concerning life on Earth; hearts are like open books displaying their secrets to us. The human being is prey to contradictory feelings, before which he must make choices in many circumstances.

"Life in this world is not simple. Educational in its essence, it meets this criterion perfectly and drives the human being into a corner. One needs strength to face difficulties. Each day has its lot, ranging from the most insignificant to the more trying. Left to himself, he must face up to his responsibilities; that is how the possibility of growth is offered to him.

"Everything is important. So are the divine laws. Nothing escapes their notice. Miscarriages of justice are characteristic of men; here, nothing like this can occur. The complexity of an incarnation is an aspect of a vast plan escaping human logic. Limited in his view of things, man believes he knows. He makes statements; he swears and shouts sometimes, anchored to his convictions. The remainder of his way will include its own pitfalls – more numerous or less according to the case, but necessary for his evolution.

"It is not easy to understand. However, our brothers are ready to do so, and to admit to this principle to its fullest extent. Happy are those who open up to knowledge. They organise their life here below according to their convictions and practice, as far as our aspirants are concerned.
