Keep making progress in 'surrendering', which is not as easy as it may seem. It takes time to attain this state of mind; it results from a constantly deepening process whereby Earthly worries are relegated to the background.

"Faith gives strength; the openness of heart to the realities of spiritual life gives a support that allows one to face up to things while putting oneself in the hands of higher forces. Whatever people's motives and the life plan they may design, the divine seal marks their destiny, which generally runs counter to what they foresaw. Confidence in their destiny must guide them, strengthen them through ordeals and maintain joy in them, in spite of the tortuousness of their Earthly journey.

"Humans know the outcome of their journey; for them this life is only one stage. Being aware of it, they cannot dwell indefinitely on their setbacks in the material life, on health sufferings which, if well accepted, mould in them an elite soul while their lucidity grows over the years. Wisdom cannot be acquired easily; it requires man to question himself. It is not easy for him to overcome his true nature as his tendencies resurface when he believes he has neutralised them.

"Our way assists him in this work, in self-transcendence. There is no such thing as perfection in this world. Its attainment is a noble goal. We support our brothers and we help them in this struggle from which, sooner or later, they will emerge victorious. Our system makes it possible to work with this end in view: to refine God's creature, to bring it to the most favourable point in its evolution. --Reflections

Collective awareness about the realities of this world is desirable, especially the realities related to human nature. Such awareness is dawning on the horizon of this new era, bringing hope for many human beings in search of the truth – in particular, about their real nature. Not having the expected answers on this point, they feel frustrated as they cannot piece together the puzzle capable of enlightening them.

"The most informed ones would like to gain further knowledge. They crosscheck by comparing information coming from various sources. Will the truth thus become more obvious to them? Well-informed hearts are forging ahead while others, more timorous ones, remain very reserved for fear of the unknown. We do not want to trouble our brothers, but only to tell them that evolution means change, reappraisal on all levels and adaptation to a source of information capable of opening up their minds to reality.

"We are moving cautiously. Man is made like that: he wants to know, but he clings to his own certainties. They reassure him, in the absence of what he regards as evidence. It is not easy to infuse knowledge into hearts eager to know, yet timorous in the face of a reality that is currently beyond them. Let us act by elevating them vibrationally, by preparing them for future times very carefully, under the best conditions.
