Great Beings who have come to this world – those of the past and the present – also experience doubt. This is a human feature and, moreover, as far as they are concerned, it is a sign of great wisdom. A medium who would not doubt his or her capabilities would singularly lack humility.
"My child, always seek deeper within you the answers to what is beyond you, and do not worry. Here below, only your Master can judge. He has great wisdom. He has journeyed long in this world, and he knows it as well as an incarnate being of his stature can know it.
"In spiritual life, all is simple; it is men who complicate matters. They get bogged down in completely absurd considerations. Unfortunately, we cannot change them; it is advisable that all their tendencies must manifest themselves prior to being expunged.
"Our brothers do not escape the rule: however fervent they may be in their process, on the least occasion the strongest features of their personality emerge. We must put up with it; mankind is like that. Cleaning carried out in our way is not an eddy-free process, and eddies do not necessarily reveal what is best in each one.
"This point is worth considering. It must invite compassion rather than criticism; this fact is not always easy to accept. Each must see himself for who he is; this assessment is not easy either, as too much lucidity is difficult to accept. All are on their way, struggling to reach their best condition.

"Perfection is the targeted goal; it requires unspeakable tribulations. How many lives are required to attain it? Spiritual work is a precious tool meant to achieve the expected success sooner or later."
